   Guangxi national cultural relics court is located in Nanning City, Guangxi Museum side, covers an area of 24,000 square metres, built in 1988 at the end of the year, is a local unique characteristics of the national cultural relics open-air exhibition hall.

The Institute of Folklore and Cultural Heritage has been fitted with commercial PVC flooring from the Berrod range.

    The Institute's extension was commissioned in the winter of 2023 in just 12 months. The historic building is complemented by exhibits and has an impressive retro interior design thanks to our highly durable commercial PVC flooring solution, the Berrod range.

    To enable the Folklore Heritage House to accommodate more visitors, Guangxi Province decided to undertake a major refurbishment of the ageing existing building. The new exhibition area has been expanded to accommodate around a thousand visitors. The interior design is impressive, with exhibits and interior decoration fully integrated.

Sustainable, hard-wearing PVC commercial flooring

    We needed a particularly hard-wearing, durable and sustainable solution. We chose the Berrod Collection PVC commercial flooring in vintage colours to match the interior design. This environmentally friendly PVC commercial flooring is formaldehyde free, hard wearing, waterproof and stain resistant. After 28 days, TVOC emissions are less than 20 μg/m3, ensuring indoor air quality. Another important advantage is that the surface of the PVC commercial flooring is finished with a highly wear-resistant lacquer. This ensures a long service life and easy, economical cleaning, even in the case of frequent, high-frequency use in research facilities. It is also 100% antimicrobial (EN ISO 22196) and virus resistant (ISO 21702). Thanks to its marbled design, this floor creates a uniform, seamless appearance between the showrooms and corridors, resulting in a harmonious overall look.

    The engineering firm explains: "This is the first time we have installed the Berrod range of commercial PVC flooring and we are very pleased with it. Cutting, gluing and installing this material was very easy and time saving. We are looking forward to our next project together".
